TESTING MD TO HTML!

The appeal of neocities is real for the millenial-kid-on-the-home-pc persona. Just look at those sites rich with low-fi pixelated gifs and windows xp throwback aesthetics. I'm mindful of the problem #nostalgia can have and I feel protected by that awareness, so I give myself permission to have a lil taste. Looking at big-ass pixels feels cozy, like what you see is what you get - comforted by the thin layer of transparency and simplicity. You can understand it.

Anyway, I think it's cool to have a repo of my stuff and a place to record progress on what I'm doing. It's also helpful to keep the 'writing' part of my brain worked out.

I don't want to spend too much time #planning but I'll probably use something like this to automatically update my page locally and push it to neocities. https://github.com/neocities/python-neocities

In the age of our lord chatgpt I also need to keep that logical part of my brain worked out too. Gonna post this thing first and then work on the automation. The plan is to write this stuff in #obsidian with all my other notes and then write a #python script to update all the static pages.
